((OOC))

Because I've gotten so many questions about my character, I thought I'd provide a simple explanation. If you want to know more details, or the why and wherefore, you'll have to email or IM me.

The Basics

The one that your character interacts with is the Construct, the dream itself. The one dreaming her is the Dreamer, who is somewhere far away, sleeping. The dream, the Construct & Naomi are all one and the same.

There are a few basic guidelines for interacting with this character. The reasons are not provided here, because this is the simple explanation.

  • Your character may interact with the Construct in reality or in the realm of dreams.

  • The Dreamer is untouchable, except through the Construct, or direct interaction with the Dreamer when she is awake. Be aware that just because she dreams about perversity, doesn't mean she actually wants to experience it.

  • The dream is solid and real for as long as the Dreamer remains asleep.

  • If the dream dies, then the dream ends.

  • The dream is a new person every time she 'comes into being'. This means that she will probably not remember interactions from past dreams. It also means that she will have no marks, wounds or scars, collars or anything else that she did not begin with. It's like pressing restart each time a new dream begins.

  • When the dream ends, all that she brought with her will cease to exist. The only exception to this occurs when her dream-substance has been mixed with a real substance. One example of this would be blood. If her blood is spilled on the ground, it will vanish with her. If it soaks into the ground, it will remain.

  • The Construct comes in flavors, or incarnations, so her personality is not always the same (see below.)

I may add more as questions occur, but I hope this helps at least a little. Below is the spectrum of the dream's incarnations or personalities, and some of the constants that carry over from dream to dream.

Spectrum of a Dream

The titles of each incarnation are pretty self explanatory. The Innocent is virginal, and more fearful than the others. The Peach is no longer a virgin, but ripe, freshly plucked as it were. The Wanton is as submissive as the others, but more direct in her desires. The Defiant is rebellious and scornful, with a cutting tongue that often gets her into trouble. And lastly, the Masochist, who is a shameless pain slut. She can be as verbally abusive at times as the Defiant, but only as a means to get the abuse she needs. The clue is in the dream's nightgown, which is colored in cotton or satin in the shade of the current incarnation. I choose randomly, or by my mood, which incarnation to play, though I do sometimes take requests.

Constants

Some things about the Construct are constant, unchanging from one dream to another, though there are always occasional exceptions. The Construct is always female, and holds the same general physical appearance. She is approximately 5'5" in height, and slender but curvaceous in build. Her hair is black or dark, dark brown, and long enough to brush the small of her back when it is unbound. Her eyes are such a neutral grey that sometimes they pick up colors from her surroundings or clothing. Her breasts are large enough to overfill an average man's hand, and her hips likewise are just the right size for gripping fingers. She is bisexual in any incarnation, and always very physically responsive. For those more visually inclined, here's a picture (© Seegmiller).
